History

Ukus Inouye, after selling his farm, purchased land near the mouth of the American Fork Canyon with the plans for creating a horse training/riding facility.

He was approached by a group of business men with the vision of an affordable Golf/Social Club where the focus was less on the prestige of being a member and more on golf and family. Mr. Inouye invited William Neff, a golf course architect from Holliday, to look at his land and location. Mr. Neff created a vision of a superb golf course surrounded by "Club Estate Homes" utilizing the scenic location and unique layout of this fertile stretch of farmland and the Alpine Country Club Concept was born.
